We are told that the main issues involve church unity (between churches and tribes), and breaking through cultural strongholds to discover God's truth for them. We are focusing on teaching them how to read and study the Bible for themselves and how to make disciples. They will be spending a lot of time in small groups and working through all they learn. We pray for wisdom for the teaching team, health and safety for us and our families.
Last year, we experienced miracles, healings and a whole mess of various spiritual issues. 85% of Nepal practices some form of Hinduism which openly involves the demonic world. My father-in-law reminded me earlier this week of the seriousiness of the task we are facing. It is imperative that you all praying for us as we enter into serious and very real battlefield.
We cherish your prayers. In Christ - Jeff
Wade, our prayers are with you and all the team. We love you.
